The VDB is the professional and trade association representing Germany's specialist firearms retailers and gunsmiths. We advocate for businesses of every size and model, strengthening our members through training, support and innovative services. With more than 1,800 members and 21,000 supporting members, we represent the the link between manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and end users – because retailers (both online and onsite) are the cornerstone of our industry.

Our member companies guide their customers along every step of their journey. From outdoor activities, pocket knives, laser tages, airsoft and paintball, to non-lethal self-defense, archery, crossbows, hunting and sport shooting as well as the preservation of historical collections.
