Since 2023, the BLADE Demo Area has been steadily evolving, first in Hall 5 and now in H4, as a central meeting place for the international knife community. The special area brings together experts from the knife industry with important trade and industry partners, designers, and experts.
The new community area in the center of Hall 4 will once again impress with its impressive diversity and concentrated expert knowledge: newcomers, partner institutions such as the IVSH, DKM Solingen, and DMG, a designers' corner, catering, and the central stage.
Following the record number of entries in 2025, with 77 participating products from 13 countries worldwide, the IWA Knife Award 2026 will be presented in two new categories.
An independent international jury of experts will evaluate all submitted products according to a scoring system. Be there when the best products in each category, a special jury award, and the “Trade Visitors Favorite” award are presented on Saturday, 28th February 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the BLADE Demo Area.
