Exception:

Important information about carrying knives!

Please note for your travel and stay at the IWA OutdoorClassics that there was a change in the law in Germany at the end of last year. This change prohibits carrying any type of knives (e.g., pocket knives, multitools, box cutters, fixed-blade knives) at exhibitions. Please check individually if your travel is affected by this.

As the organizer of the IWA OutdoorClassics, we know that you, as experts, handle knives carefully. However, there are no exceptions for exhibitions as per the instructions of the local authorities. The legal notice that persons carrying knives in connection with traditional customs, hunting, or sports are exempt from the ban (§42, 4a) does not apply to the IWA OutdoorClassics, as a exhibition visit is not directly associated with these activities.
