Make sure you book your accommodation early. Many visitors are expected at SHOT Show and hotels are booked up very quickly. The SHOT Show Planner gives you the opportunity to book rooms from a selection of hotels at reduced rates: https://shotshow.org/official-hotels/
Based on our experience over the past few years, the IWA team is happy to recommend the Treasure Island Hotel, The LINQ, or the Flamingo. They offer good value for money, and you can reach the event venue in just a few minutes.
As handling the transportation and import of your exhibits is one of the most important aspects of preparing for the trade fair, we recommend that you contact a forwarding agent as soon as possible. You are not tied to any one carrier, so please compare different offers (our IWA Pavilion exhibitors have had good experiences with Kühne&Nagel and DSV).
With regard to transportation, we would like to point out the usual “drayage costs” in the USA, a fee for the handling of stand construction material, exhibits, etc., which is charged by the so-called on site forwarder. These fees, which are usually very high, apply regardless of which carrier you use for your transportation.
