The new ECX™ (Extreme Copper alloy eXpanding) bullet from Hornady represents the pinnacle of monolithic bullet performance for our international customers. Its optimized design offers high levels of accuracy across a wide variety of chamber designs and twist rates. Particular attention was given to ensure excellent compatibility with traditional European chamber dimensions.

MONOLITHIC COPPER ALLOY BULLET

This one-piece, non-lead copper alloy bullet was designed for 95% or more weight retention with limited fragmentation and incredibly deep penetration, even through bone.

FLAT POLYMER TIP

The flat polymer tip helps initiate expansion by driving back into the hollow cavity at the front of the bullet creating uniform expansion.

OPTIMUM GROOVE GEOMETRY

The grooves on the ECX™ bullet have been optimized to reduce drag, resulting in more retained velocity downrange and more energy on target.
