The COTwo Marker is a gas laser that operates at a wavelength of 10,600 nm. It can be used to machine plastics, glass and organic materials. The fully air-cooled, compact laser system is suitable for producing both small and large batch sizes. The COTwo Marker is available as a 20 W or a 30 W system.

Properties

Like all of ACI's lasers, it features an optical focus finder and a preview function to make it easier to use. The COTwo Marker is a self-contained system and does not require a CO2 gas supply. It is low-maintenance and allows for uninterrupted operation without extended downtime.

This system is a laser safety class 4 solution. To upgrade the system to laser safety class 1, all ACI's laser systems can be purchased in conjunction with various protective casings. This means that these laser systems can be used either as manual workstations or as integration components in an automated system.

Software

The laser system is controlled using our proprietary Magic Mark marking software. This software enables workpieces to be marked with text, graphics, codes (data matrix codes, barcodes), serial numbers and logos. It can also be used to achieve uniform markings around the perimeter of workpieces with rotational symmetry. An intelligent user privilege management system facilitates the creation of different user groups. This way, the laser system can be adjusted to cater for the user's specific requirements. When using the laser system in automated production lines, fully automated operation – including data exchange with various data sources – can be achieved without any difficulties. Optionally, plugins such as the code or script module can be used to add extra functions to the Magic Mark software.

The BusinessFibre product series of fibre laser systems are suitable for use in time-critical manufacturing processes. Although the main area of application is in metal machining, the system can also be used for marking plastics, ceramics and laser foils. For maximum flexibility, the pulse shapes of the BusinessFibre series of lasers can be variably adjusted. This enables clean and top-quality marking results, thus satisfying the highest quality standards. All fibre lasers possess air cooling. This provides long system running times with no expensive maintenance work necessary. Depending on the application, the systems can be integrated either in an ACI manual workplace or in an automated production line. A power range of 20 W to 70 W is available to the user in the BusinessFibre series. These systems represent a solution in accordance with laser safety class 4. For operation in accordance with laser safety class 1, ACI Laser GmbH also provides complete solutions in the form of lasers in conjunction with different manual workplaces.

This compact laser system has been designed especially for industrial environments and the use in production lines. The stable aluminium housing is protected against dust and spray water and flexible mountable. The laser system is available as 19” built-in unit or tabletop device with various performance levels and beam qualities customizable to the requirements of the application. In the Business Fiber series, the user can choose between 20 and 100 watts of power.

The fiber laser systems of the Business Fiber product series are suitable for use in time-critical manufacturing processes. The main application is in the processing of metals. In addition, plastics, ceramics and laser foils can also be labeled with the system. For maximum flexibility, the pulse shapes of the Business Fiber series can be set variably. This enables clean, first-class marking results and thus also meets the highest quality standards. All fiber lasers are air-cooled. This enables long system runtimes to be achieved without costly maintenance work. The systems are a solution according to laser protection class 4.

The EconomyDiode series of lasers are the perfect entry-level systems for small and medium-sized companies with a modest demand for marking. The short resonator allows an outstanding beam quality for clean and precise marking on metals, plastics, ceramics and other materials. The lasers work with thermoelectric air cooling. We do not use high-maintenance air/water or water cooling and so save the user on time-consuming maintenance work and expensive downtimes.

These systems represent a solution in accordance with laser safety class 4. For operation in accordance with laser safety class 1, ACI Laser GmbH provides a complete solution in the form of lasers with different manual workplaces.

The WorkstationPROFESSIONAL is a highly flexible protective housing developed by ACI Laser for a wide-ranging application spectrum. The spaciously dimensioned working area is readily accessible and equipped with a large T-grooved plate. This provides a 600 mm x 600 mm clamping surface and is loadable with parts up to 100 kg in weight. A z-portal enables 400 mm z-axis travel of the laser – ideal prerequisites for large and heavy workpieces. A focus finder will help with quick setting-up of the correct z-position. This system is also the optimal solution for marking small parts. An x-axis and an optionally available y-table enlarge the marking field to a total size of 350 mm x 510 mm, enabling the marking of palletised parts in the WorkstationPROFESSIONAL in a single operation. The laser covers the entire machining area in one pass. The WorkstationPROFESSIONAL is a system solution in accordance with laser safety class 1 and otherwise requires no further safety devices. It is thus an attractive alternative to conventional marking technologies even for small companies.

Accessories

A comprehensive range of accessories enables many different kinds of marking tasks to be performed. The accessories include rotary axes for wraparound circumferential marking, foil handling systems with coiler and decoiler for foil label marking, type plate handling systems for automated marking of type plates plus an XL package for even more room for an adjustment. Furthermore, the WorkstationPROFESSIONAL can be adapted to individual requests as a special solution.
