2016

The creation of Spartan Military and Law Enforcement (M&LE) division, dedicated to the sale of a professional range of weapon replicas used by various military and law enforcement agencies in France and abroad.

2014

A new shareholder takes control of the group: the RESTARTED INVESTMENT fund, presided over by Hugo BRUGIERE, alongside Claude SOLARZ (Vice-President of the Paprec Group).

2010

2010 is shaping up to be a year of organic growth complemented by strategic acquisitions for CYBERGUN. In January, the company signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement with JT SPORTS, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, a recognized player in the paintball market for over 20 years. In May, the group acquired the Taiwanese company INOKATSU, a leader in the manufacturing of high-end Airsoft products. Further operations are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

2009

The financial year 2009 (ending on March 31, 2010) confirms the strong growth trend of the business, nearing 20% annually since going public. The revenue surpasses €50 million for the first time.

2008

In 2008, despite the global crisis, the group maintained its strong and steady growth, closing on March 31, 2009, with a revenue of €42.7 million, of which 64% came from the USA. CYBERGUN continued its external growth strategy with the acquisition, announced on March 16, 2009, of the Danish company X GUNS, which was integrated from April 1st and strengthened its Management Committee. Olivier Gualdoni, who had been with the group for 12 years, became the CEO, and Ghislain d’Argenlieu, a former Rémy Cointreau executive, was hired as the International CFO.

2007

In 2007, following significant investments in personnel and marketing, CYBERGUN continued its growth through the acquisition of PALCO Marketing in January 2007. PALCO Marketing is a wholesaler based in Minneapolis that serves 1,300 retailers in the USA and Canada. It is currently presided over by Mark Skrocki, a former paintball industry professional from JT SPORTS. Additionally, on April 1, 2008, CYBERGUN acquired TECH GROUP, a company specializing in children’s paintball and with a presence on 5 continents.

2005

In 2005 and 2006, the group continued its growth, solidifying its market position as a defender of intellectual property and an innovator (introducing 100% “bio” BBs). By March 31, 2007, sales reached €36.3 million, with 79% of sales coming from the USA. The group had established over 7,000 points of sale in the US market.

2004

The year 2004 witnessed the expansion of the American market with the opening of SOFTAIR DEPOT® stores and the acquisition of the San Francisco wholesaler, SOFTAIR USA, which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of CYBERGUN. It is currently presided over by John Steele, who was hired in September 2003 and brings previous experience from S&W.

1999

Since its listing on December 9, 1999, and its renaming to CYBERGUN, the group (formerly known as LES 3 PYLONES) has made a significant impact on the American market, which accounted for 24.1% of total revenue by the end of the 2002 financial year (ending on March 31, 2003). Simultaneously, the company expanded into new markets in Eastern Europe, signed licensing contracts with Japan, and made substantial investments in R&D. In 2003, CYBERGUN filed two revolutionary patents: BAX and CYCLONE.

1986

Jérôme Marsac and Vincent Bouvet initially developed their modeling business in the French market before launching AIR SOFT GUNS® in 1993. These replica airsoft guns project 6mm plastic pellets and are intended for adult users only. As these products faithfully reproduced real firearms, the idea came to the two entrepreneurs to obtain licenses from major defense manufacturers. Smith & Wesson® signed the first contract in 1997, followed by COLT®, SIG SAUER®, DESERT EAGLE™, and many others, resulting in a portfolio of over 20 exclusive global licenses. This has established the company as a global leader in the industry. In addition to licensing, the group also demonstrated its creativity by filing a patent for a groundbreaking innovation in 1998: clear guns (transparent replicas).
