Pardini Armi offers a brand new rifle for the 50 meter events. A cousin of the air GPR1 rifle, FR22 offers new and original features that give an advantage to the competitor during every stage of the match, especially when time makes a true difference.

The key that has been driving over 40 years of Pardini Armi activity is innovation. A company well known for the production of sport pistols, in 2013 Pardini presented the brand new GPR1 compressed air rifle, which soon won the World Championship with Petra Zublasing in 2014 and was brought by Niccolò Campriani to the medal gold at the Rio Olympic games in 2016. To complete its collection for all ISSF shooting activities, Pardini presents the FR22 rifle for 50 meter events.

The prototype of the FR22 was built in 2016. Four more years of development allowed the project to be refined with the assistance of a group of shooters who fired tens of thousands of shots with the new rifle. “The FR22 has three main features: an excellent barrel, a great trigger mechanism, and a customizable modular stock that represents a real progress compared to what we have seen so far. At Pardini Armi we have always been committed to giving something new to the sport of target shooting and we do it with original and innovative ideas”, says Giampiero Pardini.

The barrel (only 620 mm) is made internally by the company and capable of excellent groupings; the trigger mechanism is characterized by a very wide range of adjustments; the modular stock allows the shooter to better customize the rifle and save precious time in the difficult transition between one shooting position and the next in the 50m rifle 3 positions event. The stock is completely replaceable at the rear and, by simply unscrewing a knob, it allows the removal of the butt pad, cheek piece and grip. The usual attachment system of the sights facilitates the replacement of the rear and front sights. A top shooter like Petra Zublasing is able to replace all the components for switching between different positions in about 30 seconds, compared to the three and a half minutes needed with the rifle she has used so far. This savings is extremely useful in the final event, where time is very limited and any savings turn into an advantage for the shooter. By using three different rear stocks specifically dedicated to each different position, the athlete can rely on specific materials and settings for the proper shooting condition. Avoiding any compromise and thus being able to focus on performance.

Although the stock is so innovative, it retains the family feeling with that of the compressed air GPR1 rifle, sharing part of the accessories and a common philosophy in the arrangement of the adjustment controls. As for the barrel, the particular construction method has made it possible to reduce its length by bringing the center of gravity closer to the shooter's shoulder. The particular barrel mounting also reduces the perception of recoil.

Like all Pardini Armi models, the FR22 focuses on simplification, on the best materials available and on production techniques that use the latest generation of CN centers. The possibilities for customizing the weapon are almost infinite so as to adapt to the requests of every enthusiast, man or woman. The FR22 is supplied in two versions with black or champagne colored ergal stock, with blued barrel and components in natural stainless steel. The firearm is available in a set-up that provides for the supply of all three stocks.

The GPR1 air rifle is the result of a collaboration between Giampiero Pardini and Niccolò Campriani, the 3 times Olympic Champion and two Olympic Records holder from London, 2012 and Rio, 2016.“The beating heart” of the GPR1 – as Mr. Pardini likes to call it – is the evolution of mechanical innovations that have already been adopted by the Pardini’s air pistols. It has a “cryo-desmodromic” trigger made from cryogenically treated steel components and an efficient recoil reducer (Absorber). The highlights of the GPR1 project is the modular stock, made of lightweight 7075 alloy (Ergal) and the ergonomic design. All of the accessories allow numerous adjustments on (in) the three axes and are available in kits for right-handed or left-handed shooters. The stock, grip, hand rest, barrel and butt plate have screw-fitted counterweights. 2016 brings new look for the GPR1 - true pass-through eyelets that make the GPR1 lighter and the profile - unmistakable. The TOP, EVO and Pro have a new wood and aluminum hand-rest, designed according to the specific recommendations of Petra Zublasing - 2014 AR40 world champion. The GPR1 rifle is available in four versions: TOP, EVO (new in 2016), PRO and BASIC (without accessories).

TOP model components: Centra SPY Short rear sight, Centra Score M22 tunnel, raiser blocks sight elevating system, MEC Contact IV butt plate, wood/ergal hand-rest with internal and external weight set (10), set of 3 weights for the slim cheek piece (left or right) and the front sight holder (10). The grip is available in 3 different sizes (S-M-L) for right-handed shooters and 1 size for left-handed shooters.

Semiautomatic pistol, recoil operated, geometric-short barrel locking system. The magazine is prismatic and the pistol features an ambidextrous release button. The GT is single action, with fully-adjustable trigger mechanism, performs flawlessly with any standard commercial ammunition and is desirable for any competitor. Some other features of this model are the light-weight special alloy frame paired with a slide made of a special steel as well as the micro-metric adjustable rear sight. Different types of scope mounts are available. The evolved GT pistol line continues the tradition of using high quality materials and workmanship to deliver exceptional competition firearms. The unique grip angle allows low positioned center bore line for a clean and easy shot with easier recoil control. All features are designed to ensure absolute precision of the GT series and make it a great choice for IPSC, Action and Bullseye shooting competitions.

The GT series is available in three calibers (9 mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP) and different types of finishes. The receiver for all versions is made of lightweight Ergal alloy (7075). The GT9 model chambered in 9x19 mm is available with 5-inch barrel version for IPSC competitions in Standard category as well as with a 6-inch barrel. It comes with black or white anodized frame and a burnished or chromium slide. The grip panels are made from walnut. The GT45 model chambered in .45 ACP and is widely used for Bullseye and other target sport shooting. The GT45 is available in both a 5- and 6-inch model. Two color versions are offered - black with anodized receiver and burnished slide or silver with anodized receiver and chromium slide. The grip panels are made from walnut. Conversions are available for this model in 9 mm and .40 S&W, both in silver and black, in both barrel lengths. The conversion kits are sold individually in a special case and include: slide with fitted barrel in the pre-selected caliber, recoil spring with guiding rod and 2 magazines. The GT40 (caliber .40 S&W) model comes in dual-tone version (anodized silver receiver with black, aluminum grip panels and burnished slide). It has a 5-inch. Fiber optic front sight, dual action magazine release, magazine funnel, thicker magazine bottom plate, quick release adjustable holster are just part of the offered accessories. Great choice for the IPSC shooters.

Introduced in 2012, a single shot air pistol, caliber 4.5 mm (.177) with a detachable cylinder for the sole use of compressed air (up to 250 bar), with the air pressure regulator inside of the pistol frame. Designed to reflect the changes in the Rapid Fire event after the 2004 Olympics, the SP RF maintains the winning characteristics of the previous models. The SP RF comes with 6 Tungsten weights, as opposed to the traditional steel weights.

Since 2016, the SP-HP series mount a new universal frame compatible with all newly manufactured models in both calibers 22LR and .32, available in caliber .22 LR and .32 S&W. This transforms the trio of international prize-winning pistols into one true, convertible weapon system.

Conversion kits are available and the latest generation pistols can be used in all ISSF 25-meter target shooting disciplines. The advantages of the new SP-HP system are numerous: same grip, same trigger settings, interchangeability of the parts, versatility of the events that can be shot, compact carry size, lower cost. Some of the older generation barrels and bolts are also compatible and can be used on the new frame.
