All purpose pocketknife design with is more than 150 years old, developed by MAM in the small village in the north of Portugal that named the knife: Palaçoulo.

Here It´s well known by its name Palaçoula and by its high quality, sharpness and strength.

It’s the first pocketknife made in our factory and one of our main models until today. A best seller!

Iconic knife traditionally used by workers and farmers in all agricultural tasks like grafting or harvesting. Reliable foldable knife for a multipurpose use and everyday carry outdoor and indoor.

Natural wood handle made from specially treated wood. All metal parts are made with stainless steel. Blade - 88 mm, with or without tip. Hand sharpened. Blade locking system developed by MAM, for user security. Made in Portugal. Model registered.

In business since 1870, MAM is one of the main and oldest knives and cutlery manufacturers in the world .

MAM manufactures all types of cutleries, kitchen knives and utensils for chefs as well as world-renowned folding, pocket and hunting knives.

MAM models range from cutlery and knives with 150+ years of tradition, famous all over the world, like the Palaçoula also known as Operario by users and workers, to a more premium and innovative models with MAM blade lock innovative system as well noble woods and titanium coated models.

In between MAM has its heritage models like Douro line that ranges from mini to hunter’s size with blade lock available. Also our spanish inspired line Iberica ranging from mini up to 90mm with blade lock and our outdoor, fishing and hunting lines.

To celebrate MAM’s 150 Years of tradition we launched a special model, with olive tree wood handle and black titanium coated blade and locker. This model is mostly handmade and hand sharpened. Blade length - 90 mm. Comes with our MAM proprietary blade locking mechanism and it’s Made in Portugal.

MAM is also presenting its round tip collection of pocket knives suitable for kids and nautical activities with wood handles available in 6 different colors and our great blade locking system. Hand made and hand sharpened.
