Dvorak Tetherless Recoil System for Rifles

The Tetherless Recoil System is the industry standard in drop-in recoil systems for semi-automatic and select-fire automatic firearms. TRS kits are designed to work with magazines containing CO2 gas. The TRS system allows realistic training with semiautomatic pistols and long guns. Our system utilizes compressed CO2 to generate simulated recoil by acting on the gun’s bolt or slide to “cycle” the gun, thereby resetting the trigger mechanism. An integrated laser device is also incorporated and may be used to activate special targets or simulator screens. Each “shot” is initiated by the strike of the unmodified hammer or firing pin – producing both recoil and a laser pulse. Using compressed gas instead of ammo provides the opportunity to fire many simulated rounds at a fraction of the cost of live rounds! Each TRS Rifle Kit Includes:

• LASER POINTER - Transmits a beam of light at each shot to activate targets. Many types of visible and invisible IR (infra-red) lasers are for various simulator target systems. See page 11 for mounting options.

• ACTUATOR - Replaces original bolt carrier and produces simulated recoil each time the gun is “fired”.

• MAGAZINE - Holds compressed CO2. Replaces the original magazine. TRS rifle and submachine kits are available with Refillable magazines; TRS-M16 is also available with a Windowed magazine). Tethered magazines available by special order. See page 9 for details on TRS magazine types.
