Gi-360T

BULLETS, PROJECTILES, CASES, AND CARTRIDGES FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM CALIBER

The Gi-360T is a 3-Dimensional, 100% ammunition inspection system. Precision split/narrow laser beams and multi laser velocity gauge are used to accurately measure cases, cartridges, bullets or projectiles to print specifications and tolerances at rates up to 300 per minute. The 360T uses 3-D information from multiple laser beams to detect defects that may occur only on one side.

The Gi-360T-SD is a 3D high speed laser gauging and inspection machine. Precision split/narrow laser beams, multi laser velocity gauges are used to accurately measure fullform and length to shoulder. It uses 3D data from multiple laser beams to detect defects that may only be on one side of the part such as dents. In addition to dimensional inspection capabilities,  SD Vision has four off axis cameras that simultaneously image parts in color as they are illuminated with Gi’s unique lighting techniques. This provides 360^o surface defect detection for defects such as, stains, cracks, presence of annealing and other visual defects. 

VisionLab is the ultimate gauging and inspection solution for ammunition parts. The system comes standard with backlighting and a smart motor controlled rotating stage.  This patented system can process 360 part profiles in less than 10 seconds providing the most accurate and repeatable dimensional inspection results.
