'We need more mutations...' This is the motto of Frank Rehme, one of the foremost thought leaders in the field of innovation and future shaping in the areas of urban development and commerce. He is the founder of gmvteam GmbH, VITAIL GmbH & the Denkubator, all companies dedicated to developing innovations in commerce and city centers. As a strategy consultant, speaker, and management advisor, he formulates practical answers to future-oriented questions. Simultaneously, Rehme heads the Mittelstand Digital Center for Commerce under the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs. There, he played a key role in shaping and leading the implementation of the Retail Garage at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, the new hotspot for trade innovations in Germany. As the former Head of Innovations at the Metro Group, he brings extensive experience from Future Store projects. The Retail Garage is a collaborative project of the Mittelstand Digital Center for Commerce, the German Retail Association, and the EHI.
