Products of Art Tech Defense (5)

Arttech’s history has started in the early beginning of 1940’s by manufacturing single barrel shotguns, pistols and hand tools in a small village of Trabzon, at the Blacksea region of Turkey. In the leadership of Muzaffer Artkın, three brothers decided to move to İstanbul to carry out their production capabilities into a contemporary level in 1976. Mualfa company continued manufacturing single barrel shotguns and also manufactured investment casting gun parts for firearms manufacturers locally and internationally.

In the year of 1989 a new collaboration built up with the contribution of Mr. Celal Yollu, the legendary Vursan company which was the pioneer of innovations has been established. Vursan achieved many successes like manufacturing the first semi automatic shotgun of Turkey, supplying parts for military companies, manufacturing a 9 mm semi auto pistol in addition to many other international achievements in defense industry. In the year of 1999 Vursan has became partners with the Beretta Holding and in 2001 Artkın family has left this partnership and established Arttech Kalıp Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. in 2002 for manufacturing standard and custom made mold bases.

Today, Arttech is one of the most wellknown mold base manufacturing companies of Europe and awarded as one of the first 1.000 processed metal exporters of Turkey according to IDDMIB (Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association). With the experience of decades and the modern manufacturing facilities of today, Arttech has decided to get back in defense industry once again by 2020. As a main part of its philosophy of being the pioneer in many fields, Arttech is now the first company in manufacturing Turkey’s first semi auto, pump action and straight pull hunting rifles in various calibers. As an ISO certified company, with the management of the third generation of the family and the experience of decades on firearms manufacturing, Arttech is aiming to become the leader in its field using the contemporary industry instruments once again.
