The Rotex RM8 Varmint UC is a spirited, dynamic version of the classic compressed air rifle.

The extra pep in this ultra-compact model was achieved by shortening the Lothar Walther barrel of the original Varmint by a full 160 mm. With a length of 340 mm, the barrel still ensures tight groupings at great distances, and the center of gravity is now much closer to the middle. Shooters benefit from better agility and faster shooting, thanks also to the reduced weight of 3,750 g.

The ruggedness and agility of the original Varmint are also embodied in the stock and receiver. The proven 230-bar compressed air cylinder reliably propels the 8 pellets in the rotary magazine through the ½″ UNF thread and the supplied compensator to their target. The first-stage trigger travel is adjustable. The tough polymer body withstands the most punishing use, and the Hi-Grip surfaces and thumbhole stock sit well in the hand.

Like other Rotex rifles, the UC has an 11-mm rail for mounting a scope and therefore comes without an open sight.

The compact version of the proven HDP 50 combines its reliability with space-saving features. Thanks to the Quick Piercing System, a light tap on the underside of the grip is all that is needed in an emergency to pierce the propelling 8g CO2 capsule. This system allows the HDP 50 Compact to be stored in advance with four rounds of the powerful .50 caliber and with the capsule inserted in standby. The Walther Q5 Steel Frame is a first-rate tactical folder for knife enthusiasts. The design is unmistakably based on the company’s successful Q5 Steel Frame match pistol.

Like the Q5 SF, this steel framelock knife has detailed checkering on the bottom to provide a secure grip.
