An antique Roman command to exhort the strongest legion of all time to attack, today this term is used to indicate a program of individual and team dynamic shooting lessons, carried out in different contexts such as narrow spaces, in total or partial absence of light or handling dynamic ballistic shields, and tactical medicine courses.
"To move the insigna forward" means "show with pride who you are: a fighter, a warrior but above all a hero".
To this kind of people, the whole 4-14 Factory world is dedicated to. 4-14 Factory is a sports association that offers training courses for shooting enthusiasts, for professionals of the Armed Forces and, from today, also a technical clothing brand that meets the specific needs of the tactical and outdoor world.
THE DECISIVE CONDITION
The 4-14 Factory was born the day DP, operator in one of the armed forces elite departments, met “The President” while training on the shooting range.
The President is a clothing field entrepreneur and that day he is at the shooting range to follow his passion, which he dedicates himself to in his spare time. He was very impressed by DP's expertise, by his ability to involve the participants as well as by his teaching skills. But “The President” was even more surprised when, at the end of the training, DP distributed personalized hats and tees with an engaging and aggressive design to thank the students for their participation. That moment “The President” understood that together they could do great things.
DP knows every aspect of its profession and, throughout its career, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with various manufacturing companies in the creation of equipment lines and uniforms for the most particular situations and with the aim of making movements and training easier.
"The President" realized then that there is much more than a t-shirt at stake, there is the experience, the expertise and intelligence necessary to create a new tactical clothing line, not only for professionals in the sector, but also for outdoor lovers and for sports training.
They have reached the heart of the operation. Now they need to involve another person and here’s when "The analyst" comes in. He’s the one who makes ends meet and who studies in detail every possible investment to make the project grow.

DP, the President and the Analyst have accepted an important challenge: to produce clothes that enable the wearer to move without any constraint guaranteeing maximum results in terms of agility but that can also accompany him on any mission, from the battlefield to everyday life, thanks to their high-performance and durability.
Relying on Italian designers, 4-14 Factory aims to launch itself on the market as a reference brand in the creation of equipment lines that range from the military tactical world, to dynamic shooting, up to fitness. All garments are the result of a process of research and development carried out on the Italian soil by trained professional staff and by DP himself.
The products have been divided into three main lines: Ordinary, Dynamic and Active, following the acronym ODA (Observe / Orient - Decide - Act), an abbreviation coming from the military strategy jargon, conceived and applied for the first time by Colonel John Boyd of the United States Air Force.
In short, a brand with a very high functionality, with the inimitable Italian taste and that winks at the US cousins, expert in the tactical clothing field, by offering a range of all related products but with a competitive price range, in order to favor above all sector operators.
LINES AND PRODUCTS
The “Ordinary” line is made to support all those people who serve their country or who like to wear casual tactical clothes, ideal both in everyday life and in the most hostile environments or delicate situations. The garments in this collection are designed following the logic of the multilayer, in fact, by wearing more clothes belonging to this line it is possible to maintain a high level of performance in cold, wind, rain or snow conditions without compromising their versatility and practicality of movement. Two types of trousers have been created, one in denim and one in cotton, with pockets specially created to hold a large quantity of accessories but without getting noticed.
The other garments are: two types of polo shirts, a standard one and a performing one in breathable technical fabric; shirts with patterns that recall the tactical-military world but revisited in a pop key; a sherpa jacket, warm and comfortable, a windbreaker, resistant and insulating, a water-repellent and padded anorak, a 3-layer waterproof and breathable overall, light and sturdy at the same time, and, finally, a padded insulated down- jacket to face any type of adversity in sub-zero temperatures.
The “Dynamic” line has been designed for those who feel the need to reach very high levels in dynamic shooting performance, guaranteeing resistance, agility and precision. Some of the fabrics are in fact resistant to abrasions and rips, always maintaining great flexibility and breathability. For this collection, short and long trousers have been created for all seasons and a technical shirt created specifically for dynamic shooting.

4-14 is originally the story of a profession, that of DP, who founded the 4-14 Training Sports Association with the aim of sharing his passion.
"I am an operator with a long militancy in the armed forces elite departments. I have been trained and prepared by the best instructors and I have been employed in numerous military operations. Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to live a lot of experiences where to try my speed, aggression and precision. The most important lesson I’ve learned here is to practice, always practice and when you think you’re done practice again! Training is fundamental to survive in an operational context where the immediate response to a threat becomes the key point. In this situation the mental clarity and the fluidity of movement will be proportionate to the level of knowledge of the procedures and to how comfortable you feel in using your weapon. Reacting quickly to a threats is not enough, you need to be able to locate it, identify it and so suppress it to secure everything around the threat, have full control of the situation and dominate the area.
After entering in the operating unit, I’ve been carrying out all the planned training, in this way I have had the opportunity to learn from the most qualified and demanding instructors in the operating environment. But above all I have worked every day with the best soldiers that the armed force could provide. And from here, I have had the opportunity to also hold positions as a shooting and combat instructor in restricted areas. "
In these circumstances, technology also acquires a fundamental role. For example, the careful choices of aiming systems suitable for shooting, both in and out of light conditions, increase the operator's ability to bring the mission to a successful conclusion.
