Avon Protection has teamed with Schuberth to provide flawless integration of their HM50 to the Schuberth P100N Helmet to produce the revolutionary HMK150, helmet mask combination system.

Based on the widely deployed 50 Series mask platform, the HM system brings the pedigree of a mask proven for use in the harshest environments and is CE marked for CBRN Protection.

By a simple exchange of the harness for the helmet connecting straps, the mask converts to be compatible with a world leading Police helmet for use in non-CBRN environments which is approved to the most advanced German Police specification.  The full face respirator is connected to the helmet in seconds, as there is no need for the helmet to be removed. Respiratory protection is seamless.

The capability to change levels of protection dependent on the threat, now provides the wearer with increased duration on target and safer operation.

Utilizing the Avon MP-PAPR module along with the patented combination hose module, the wearer can seamlessly switch between APR, PAPR and SCBA modes of protection. The single air hose connection for all modes allows the wearer to retain a clear mask cheeks for optimum weapon sighting.

The low profile shape of the Avon CS-PAPR delivers best in class integration with SCBA systems, benefiting the wearer with reduced weight and size compared to traditional systems.

Modular Methodology allows the user to either add the Avon CS-PAPR to existing fielded systems such as the FM53/4 APR and ST53 SCBA, use as a regular PAPR (Avon MP-PAPR) or revert back to the Avon EZAir configuration.

The Avon Protection C50 protective mask shares key technologies with the U.S. M50/JSGPM (Joint Services General Purpose Mask) to provide maximum operational flexibility. It is capable of countering multiple threat scenarios, including chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological (CBRN) agents, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), and toxic industrial materials (TIMs).

Innovative No Thru-Hole construction for mounting the NVG shroud, retention system and rails which increases the shell’s effective protection area. Shell is manufactured with the advanced Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Material (UHMWPE). Available in Full-Cut, Mid-Cut and High-Cut. >15% lighter than ACH helmet. Choice of suspension and retention systems. Accessories options include rails (No Thru-Hole), NVG (No Thru-Hole), bungees and exterior loop set.
