The Garmont Nemesis 4.1 GTX is a water-repellent, cut-resistant, tactical ankle-high combat boot for business use. The water-repellent 3-season boot is ideal for activities that require speed, flexibility and sportiness. The Nemesis upper material consists of an innovative fabric composed of polyurethane, polyamide and polyester. This new type of textile fabric is constructed in such a way that the extremely abrasion-resistant PU threads are woven directly into the fabric structure, so that maximum abrasion resistance is achieved in the areas where this is particularly necessary. The innovative Nemesis upper material can improve physical performance and increase comfort for the user. The Nemesis is lighter, more flexible, needs less break-in time and feels more like sports shoes than conventional work shoes. At the same time, it offers full protection and durability. The Nemesis upper is much more flexible and comfortable than the heavy-duty leather used in traditional boots. Properties such as flexibility, cushioning, cut / abrasion resistance, breathability, durability and safety are the main features of the Nemesis. The latest material technology from "One Piece of Upper" allows the entire upper material to be constructed in one weaving phase. The end result is the wearing of boots that feel like socks. Another advantage of the "One Piece of Upper" solution is the increased strength of the upper material, especially when it is wet.
The Nemesis upper exceeds the recommended abrasion resistance when wet for demanding shoes, which requires a minimum of 12,800 rpm, with a value of 200,000 revolutions (EN 13520, ISO / TR 20879). The same applies to the flexibility test - 200,000 cycles without loss of elasticity (EN ISO 20344).
