The police in Germany, Europe and all over the world is needed more than ever. Training must be adapted and expanded in order to ensure that operations go smoothly.
The tasks of ammunition manufacturers thus included offering a lead-free 5.56 x 45mm cartridge to protect users’ health and minimise wear on shooting range materials.
The solution MEN came up with to meet this demand is called LFI – Lead-free Indoor.
This product from the Green Ammunition line is completely lead-free and low-pollutant. It thus protects the health of the shooters and especially of the trainers, even under intensive indoor training. The projectile is made up of an aluminium tip and a tin core enclosed by a galvanised copper jacket. Not only is it lead-free, it ensures a point of impact virtually identical to that of the service ammunition. This projectile composition is also the reason why the rebound materials only exhibit slight wear.
