Teema Line ltd. was established in 1984 and is one of the leading producers and developers of shooting equipment in the world. Our shooting jackets and pants are all made in our factory in Finland, from high quality materials and carry the brand name of Kurt Thune. We also carry other sport shooting equipment like gloves and boots in our extensive Kurt Thune range of products.
We produce all our shooting jackets and pants ourselves, from beginning to the end, at our factory located in the southern Finland and the factory employs 13 people in total. 92% of the products manufactured here are exported and we have dealers in over 50 countries all over the world.
Our products were strongly represented at the Rio 2016 Olympic games, where 4 gold medals were won with Kurt Thune X.9 suits.
Most of our jackets and pants are tailor-made, according to the customer's own measurements and our tailors train the dealers to take measurements. We also offer a fit warranty for all out MTM (Made to measure) products.
We continuously do work towards product development to guarantee that we offer the best products for our customers. All new products from gloves to boots and jackets are tested together with our team of experienced shooters, including an Olympic medalist Henri Häkkinen who has won multiple world championships and holds several world records.
Main material in our products is cotton; others include polypropylene, polyester, PVC and leather. All the materials are tested and quality checked regularly. Our fabric- and leather distributors follow the certified ISO-quality and environmental management system.
Companies working in the textile and clothing industry are required to do their share in reducing the environmental impact of waste and support sustainable development. The goal is a rational use of resources, prevent and combat waste, inconvenience and danger to health and the environment.
Our production is located in Finland. Everyone working at the company works under collective labour agreements which assure the working hours, adequate salaries and holidays. We source the materials from our long-term partners in Europe who share our values in high quality, longevity and sustainability. We are looking forward for finding more sustainable materials in the future. We do constant R&D to improve our products and production.
The canvas fabrics used in Kurt Thune products are produced in Europe and they have environmental standards according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and they meet the requirements of the REACh regulation.
The leather used in Kurt Thune products comes from Italy and the producer operates with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. The leather production has been awarded with the Gold LWG Award for its good ethical, environmental and safety practice in the processing of leather.
KT iCanvas Prime
Curved seams shaped to improve support in all 3 shooting positions.
Improved fit in shoulder area under rifle buttplate.
Improved support for elbow on the gun-keeping arm in standing position.
Left sleeve design and material selection improved to work better in all three positions.
Material: Shell + lining of iCanvas .
Standard colour: blue-orange-black with orange piping.
The Smart Hybrid is designed for the ambitious shooter in need of a good support of stiff clothing for a reasonable price. Hybrid material gives great support and stays relatively stiff longer than other materials.
The Smart jacket has a cut that gives support on the back and front. The left front panel is of non-slip Clarino™ and a real leather and soft lining in neck area to avoid pressure in prone position. The jacket has adjustable metal buttons and a two-way adjustable non-stretch sling keeper. The right shoulder has a strap which is adjusted in a matter of seconds. The Smart jacket is suitable for all three positions.
Smart jacket standard colors are orange-turquoise-white-grey with turquoise piping.
The X.9 shooting boots are the result of an intensive developing and testing work with several professional shooters. The result is a genius construction of the heel and the mid-foot area.
In the heel it improves the support in kneeling and reduces the pulse. In standing the tighter fit in the heel and mid-foot area improves the balance and the hold.
Coldwinner is great at regulating body temperature in both cold and warm weather. Use Coldwinner underwear directly against the skin.
The Coldwinner shirt has a long double-slided zipper, extra back length designed to protect lower back in kneeling and thiner Lycra panels in the inside of the elbows.
Coldwinner underwear has padding in the important places but is not unnecessarily thick where not required. ISSF Rules allow underwear to be 2.5 mm thick. This material is only 1.1mm thick, which is why we use double (2 x 1.1 = 2.2 mm) thickness in the necessary places: the back of the sleeves, shoulder area and the front of the chest. These twin layers of material are more comfortable and reduce the effect of the pulse from the sling in prone/kneeling and from the elbow on the body in standing.
Solid glove short
The ultimate support glove with a great fit. The short version is great for warm temperatures and those who need to use their left hand to load or change targets. The Solid rubber material gives stability in standing and distributes the pressure from the rifle and the sling over a bigger area in prone and kneeling position.
Short fingers + 5-fingers, sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. Stiff white rubber.
