The FROG.PRO brand was born in the second half of 2011, to better represent the customised products, once made as a hobby by their creator Fabio Casali.
The passion that Fabio has developed for military equipment, together with his desire for perfection, led to the realisation of his dream.
The 2nd May 2013 FROG.PRO, the company, was officially launched. The mission is to offer professional military, civil security forces and the serious amateur new products made for comfort, functionality and design. Transforming standard equipment into products of the highest quality for the user, both aesthetically and in the field.
FROG.PRO products are made from the selection of the best high tech materials and fabrics available.
The major part of these materials are sourced from the USA, the world leaders in military equipment innovation. Materials used by FROG.PRO exceed all United States MIL-SPEC requirements.
The principal fabric used is CORDURA® 500 Denier, with a urethane coating on the reverse side and a Durable Water Repellant finish, which gives the optimum ratio between weight and anti-abrasion resistance. This choice may seem counter to the current trend, but it offers the comsumer a stronger more hard-wearing product, reminiscent of the renowned 1990s USA quality.
............ but in FROG.PRO tradition and innovation are merged ............
Recently introduced, DuPont® Hypalon® or CSM rubber (commonly used in the nautical environment), is laser cut and silk-screen printed (to give an embossed effect) to produce the new WTFix attachment system with special inserts of new, exclusive laminates.
The buckles and other plastic hardware are made by ITW Nexus®, the world leader in closure and fixing systems.
MIL-SPEC webbings are used to trim, and to make "PALS MOLLE" and regulation webbings. A solution dyeing system is used to give a consistent, colourfast and weather resistant finish.
On our products we offer coiled continuous reverse chain zippers with water resistant polyurtethane coating, made by YKK, the world leader in the closure sector.
............ FROG.PRO pays particular attention even to the details hidden from sight ............
The "solution-dyed" system used in the printing of the webbing, together with the GhillieTex® material used to make the ITW NEXUS® plastic hardware guarantees low light reflection under infra-red conditions giving better camouflage protection, a necessity in modern-tech warfare.
A double layer of CORDURA® fabric is applied to protect the parts of the products most prone to chaffing.
Studies of the design during the different phases of development allows us to make concealed stitching with a protective second layer of material. Furthermore all points liable to wear, through friction or stretching, are sewn with special attention.
Our modus operandi may not be the least expensive, however each article that leaves our workshop is a milestone in our company mission to provide the best that money can buy.
All FROG.PRO products are designed, cut and sewn entirely in Italy at our workshops in Taneto, Reggio Emilia.
Our proud boast is that all FROG.PRO equipment is 100% Made in Italy.
