ZMF was founded in Antegnate, around 60 km far from Milan, in 1975 with the aim of forging brass. The plant covers 25.000 m2 on a total area of 50.000 m2 and it is part of an Italian important industrial group headed by the Zucchetti family. A brief history of the company:
1975 - ZMF was founded in Antegnate, province of Bergamo, with the aim of forging brass, mainly for the taps and fittings field
1985 - The machining department was created
1996 - UNI EN ISO 9001 certification was obtained
2001 - Aluminium forging process was developed
2008 - Other non-ferrous alloys forging process was developed
2010 - Commercial expansion into non-European markets
2013 - Hot forging for AR15 raw parts in aluminium 7075 upper and lower receivers plus buffertubes was studied and developed.
2014 - First participation at the IWA fair, at which the company takes part every year since then
2018 - UNI EN ISO 9001-2015 certification was obtained. Worldwide sales of our AR15 parts in all their versions
Present projects: 1911 and AR10 parts study and development. Some important cooperations with international customers to produce customised products.
