Screwed on rear sight leaf and pinned triangular front sight of early model. Chamber with three-line signature "WAFFENFABRIK / LOEWE / BERLIN", on right side of fork housing marked "SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT", on front toggle link "D.R.P. / No. 75837". Complete, original, blue-black brushed bluing lightly matt on grip, minimally rubbed on edges. Small and operational parts blue. Walnut grip panels with fine chequering and broad smooth rim. Matching-numbered, nickel-plated magazine, three matching-numbered spare magazines, matching-numbered walnut shoulder stock with matching-numbered cheek. Weapon in almost as new condition.
Kept in original wooden case covered with black sheepskin, leather only minimally bumped, dimensions 38 x 19 x 9 cm, inlaid with green felt. Comes with complete contents: three spare magazines, plywood dummy magazine with integrated three-piece brass cleaning rod with grease tin and grease nipple, plywood marked "GESETZLICH GESCHÜTZT". Shoulder stock with cheek. Leather trim including carrying strap somewhat cracked due to age, closing strap of bag re-sewn. Two-blade screwdriver with two piercers. Brass cleaning rod with two different attachments for inserting into screwdriver, length 36 cm. Oil flask in leather case. Vaseline tin. Rarely offered in such complete and as new condition.
The serial numbers of the "Loewe manufacture" go as far as approx. 1100. Afterwards another approx. 2000 C 93s were produced lightly modified under the "DWM" logo. Hence the total manufacture stopped around 3100. Accordingly rare and sought-after are Loewe-manufactured C 93s, let alone in this condition and in the almost undamaged original case with complete accessories.
