Tradewinds Outdoor Ltd started life in 1999 and we distribute Barmah Hats and Redback Boots from Australia and we also distribute Lumica Lightsticks, Zebra Head Camping Pots, Unbelievable Saws, Ghillie Kettles and Savu Smoker Bags.
Barmah Hats are from Melbourne in Australia and they have been producing a very high quality range of kangaroo and cowhide leathers, suede and canvas hats for many years. All the hats have been designed with the travel, equestrian, country clothing, hunting and fishing activities in mind.
The hats are made from the highest quality materials and handcrafted to exacting standards. The hats are lightweight and waterproof and designed to protect both the face and neck in bad weather and sunshine. All the hats can be folded to fit in a pocket and with a quick shake the hats spring back to their original shape every time. Each hat is supplied with a calico travel bag.
The Ghillie Kettle has been around for centuries, and The Ghille Kettle Company manufacture them in the age old traditional way, with the addition of a whistle to let you know exactly when it reaches boiling point. Ideal for camping, fishing, hiking and any outdoor activity, the Ghille Kettles can be used in harsh conditions, however wet or windy. Quick, durable and simple to use, there's no need for gas or artificial fuel : Use twigs, fir cones, dry leaves and news paper, anything you may find within easy reach. The Adventurer Kettle boils approximately 5 mugs of water in minutes, and is the largest of the Ghillie Kettles.
The original style boot with a soft and grippy cushioned sole, oil kip leather and fantastic anatomical foot support. These boots are so comfortable and easy to get on an off and are better than other more expensive Australian brand boots in our opinion, "Once a Redback wearer always a Redback wearer and I'm a convert". Redbacks are still the only boot completely made in Sydney, so you can rely on their quality.
The boots are all designed with the following features.
Harder wearing translucent sole resistant to fuels, lubricants and high temperatures.
Lighter Air Cushion midsole with millions of tiny bubbles to give excellent shock absorption.
Better Grip, with multi directional cleats.
Anatomic Support provided by superb cradling of the foot, to reduce foot and leg strain.
Tougher and supple full grain leathers (+2.5mm) are 30% thicker than normal work boots.
