Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels, Inc. was started in 1985 by Daniel Lilja as a result of his interest in benchrest rifles. Dan has been an active benchrest shooter since the mid 1970s and has an industrial engineering and machinist / toolmaker background. He enjoys shooting at benchrest matches and has won and placed well at national level matches over the years. He and his family also enjoy big game and varmint hunting.
