“OP-SKS” is a semi-automatic hunting rifle in caliber 7.62x39, designed on the basis of the well-known semi-automatic Simonov’s SKS-45 carbine. The rifle is reloaded automatically due to the energy of the powder gases, escaping from the barrel bore to the gas cylinder during firing and the energy of the return springs. The rifle is loaded from the non-detachable magazine. The left side of the receiver is equipped with a base for attachment of the scope mount.
